Volunteering with MPO

At the Medical Professions Organization, we believe that service is at the heart of medicine. Our volunteering opportunities give members the chance to support the El Paso community, gain valuable hands-on experience, and develop the compassion and leadership skills that define future healthcare professionals.

From clinical volunteering at local clinics and hospitals, to mentoring youth, to supporting food distribution and animal shelters, MPO provides a wide variety of service opportunities that fit every interest and career goal. Whether you’re looking to earn clinical hours, make a child’s day brighter, or get involved in community outreach, there’s a place for you to contribute.

All events are coordinated through MPO, and details on dates, sign-up links, and requirements are shared at general meetings and posted on the Event Attendance page. Please note that some opportunities have limited capacity and selection is at the discretion of the Community Service Chair. By committing to serve, you represent MPO and our mission to make a difference.
